For supper tonight, I made homemade beef stroganoff. The family LOVED it! I converted an old family recipe into a gluten free recipe, added a little of this & a little of that…YUM!
Brown 1 package of ground beef.
Boil 1 pack gluten free egg noodles.
Once the beef has completely cooked, add 1 package of Lipton Onion Dry Soup Mix, diced mushrooms and a little water to keep it from drying.
To season, I added salt, pepper, garlic salt with parsley and beef broth base to taste. Then, I added 1 package of cream cheese & stirred occasionally until melted.
I drained the cooked noodles & added to the beef mixture. I added small amounts of water until I reached the desired consistency that I was looking for.
The original recipe called for regular egg noodles, beef consume, a can of french onion soup & stewed beef.
